History
The first three members in front of Meribah Church on the day of the first service
The World Mission for New Life β Meribah Church was founded by Jesus Christ through Pastor Paulo Antonio Malamba, also known as Torly. His vision was revealed on January 11, 2012, during a time of fasting and prayer, giving birth to a calling to transform lives through the Good News. The first service was held on May 1, 2016, in Cape Town, with only three members. Since then, the church has continued to grow, guided by its mission: to proclaim the Gospel, support each person in their faith, and provide a place where God works in peopleβs lives.
Pastor Paulo Antonio Malamba, born on September 17, 1992, holds a degree in theology, including studies in history, psychology, philosophy, social sciences, and anthropology. This education equips him to lead the church with wisdom and discernment. He was ordained by Pastor Alain Mbinda, the current senior pastor of ECM/Angola, who trained him in pastoral leadership and church management.
Today, Meribah Church touches hearts through its online presence and is preparing to welcome in-person services, with a vision of international expansion to share the Good News and offer new life in Jesus Christ worldwide. Grounded in solid biblical texts, including Psalm 81:8, Acts 26:17-18, Exodus 17:6-7, and Psalm 50:15, Meribah Church is a place where God answers prayers, transforms lives, and grants true new life in Jesus Christ.
